MEET THE ARTIST
Olivia Kelly
Oliva Kelly-Suter was born in 1980 in Goiània, Brazil.
She has lived and worked in Bern and Zurich since 1997.
She is a charismatic person, with a lot of charm, passion and heart.
Her personal, profound, and significant life experiences in Brazil and ultimately in Switzerland were a decisive factor in her increasing dedication to her passion for the visual arts. She also acquired knowledge as a self-taught artist.
Initially enjoying painting on paper with watercolor ink, her interest subsequently shifted to paintings on canvas with acrylic paints - executed in various techniques such as modulation and texture.
Here she can express and portray her emotions in diverse and fascinating works.
With a passion for the human figure and nature, she dedicates herself to exploring painting and illustration techniques - portraying human complexities and subtleties through elegant, bold portraits and illustrations.

Artist & Procedure
Emotion-driven composition
Every work of art begins with emotions, with instinct and movement guiding the creative process, not rigid planning.
Structural stratification
Rich textures, created through multi-layered acrylic paints, mixed media techniques and experimental tools, create a depth that demands closer inspection.
Abstract storytelling
Each work invites the viewer to interpret their own story and find personal meaning in the abstract forms.
Artist Statement
"My work exists in the tension between emotion and abstraction. I am interested in how color, texture, and movement can convey what words cannot express. Each painting is an invitation to pause, reflect, and feel."
